Exclusive: Hundreds of civilians in Baghdad sit-in for better services
Several hundred civilians held an indefinite sit-in in the main street of Hosseinia district in Baghdad city to demand basic services. 

In an interview with The Baghdad Post, a local source said the sit-in followed several protests which were ignored by the federal government.

Protesters have set up a large tent at the main street of the city to pressure local authorities to fulfil their demands, the source further said.

Security forces cut the roads leading to the sit-in place.

The main demands expressed by demonstrators are to pave main roads, amend water, sewer networks.
