446 killed in clashes in Afrin

Turkey jets hit YPG terrorist militia in Syria's Afrin region
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Monday that 446 people were killed during clashes between the Turkish army and Syrian factions on one hand and Kurdish People's Protection Unit on the other in Afrin city in northern Syria.

As many as 252 members of the Kurdish People's Protection Unit and 194 elements of the Turkish army and the Syrian factions were killed in the clashes.

The Turkish fighters targeted the western countryside in Afrin, the observatory added.

The Syrian Democratic Forces destroyed two Turkish choppers on Sunday.
