Prominent Houthi leader killed in clashes in Taiz

Prominent Houthi leader Mohamed Mohamed al Ashwal was killed in clashes between the Houthis and legitimate Yemeni forces in Taiz, military sources said.

The Yemeni forces controlled Haid al Hamam mountain in western Taiz after fierce clashes with the Houthi militias, the sources said on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the government forces restored control over western Waghera in Ma'rib governorate.

In Sanaa, the government forces intensified their artillery shelling of Houthi hotbeds in Nahm.

The Yemeni forces, with the help of the jets of the international coalition, progressed in Saada after clashes with the Houthi militias.
