Iraqi president Fuad Masum on Friday said Iraq is in urgent need for a strong economy.
As he addressed a conference for ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Iraq, Masum said the great victories achieved by the Iraqi people over the terror group of ISIS have enhanced Iraq's regional and international stature.
"The international community's respect to Iraq has increased. And the world is looking upon Baghdad as a terror-quashing nation," Masum noted.
He asserted the diplomatic activities will help Iraq receive support from friendly nations.
