Tigris Operations commander Gen. Mazher al-Azawi on Monday said the Iraqi forces have destroyed three guesthouses, a vehicle and a motorcycle carrying missiles for the terror group of ISIS in eastern Diyala.
"The Iraqi police, army as well as IMIS, backed by the air force, conducted a large-scale military operation to wipe out ISIS pockets in villages and towns in eastern Diyala," he said.
Azawi also said the forces have hit all targets it set for the offensive.
According to the military commander, four explosive devices have been dismantled in the anti-terror push.
ISIS terror outfit has been incurring huge losses in Iraq in recent months, with its affiliates expelled entirely from Mosul, Tal Afar and other areas.
