2018 budget allocates insufficient money for rebuilding - MP
The 2018 federal budget has not allocated sufficient amounts of money to rebuild the destroyed areas during the war against ISIS, Mahasen Hamdon, lawmaker, member of the parliament's economy and investment committee, said on Sunday. 

She added that the amount of money for rebuilding has not exceeded $170, 000,000.

National Forces Alliance's members called on the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to pay the overdue salaries to the employees of Nineveh governorate but he did not reply. 

She pointed out that the overdue salaries worths IQD 400 billion since ISIS terrorists have controlled the governorate in 2014. 

The administrations that paid the salaries of many employees were referred to investigations.

The central government has not allocated any amounts of money as a compensation to the people whose houses were destroyed due to war.

The MPs requested Housing Bank to loan these civilians to rebuild their homes and the Department of Immigration will pay these loans but this request was not approved. 

Hamdon confirmed that the alliance's members will continue their rejection to this budget till these demands are taken seriously.
