50 Iranian protesters killed, 3,000 arrested by IRGC – NCRI

Iran protests
The Iranian Resistance said on Friday that at least 50 protesters have been shot and killed by the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) during the first eight days of the uprising, and more than 3,000 have been arrested. Children as young as 12 or 13 years old are among those killed.
The actual number of victims and detained is much more; a reality that the Iranian regime is trying hard to hid, it added.
“The Iranian regime has blocked social networks in Iran since the first days of the uprising, cutting off the internet completely in some areas and boosting severe restrictions on it in others. The IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, Minister of Communications Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, and many other officials in the clerical regime have officially acknowledged cutting off internet communications and boasted that they would continue it until the unrest ends,” it noted.
