An Iraqi parliamentary session, which was attended by the members of High Electoral Commission, has witnessed a discussion over the main problems that face the upcoming elections, Hassan Khudair Chuird, Iraqi National Alliance MP, said on Friday.
The members of commission said that they cannot perform their duties over lack of funds required.
They also confirmed the necessity of returning the internally displaced persons to their homes and updating their election manifesto ahead of the elections to be held on May 15.
As a result of the war against ISIS terrorists in Iraq, the number of displaced people rose dramatically. This increased the burden on the central government trying to handle the problem of displaced Iraqis who escaped the atrocities of ISIS since the launch of the recapture operations.
