Security forces have arrested 25 ISIS terrorists in Mosul, a security source said on Friday.
He added the terrorists were bearing fake IDs.
A local police officer said the joint forces launched a major crackdown in three areas in southeastern Mosul.
The targeted districts were encircled by the forces upon receiving intelligence.
He also noted local officials aided the police forces in the raid on the terrorists.
ISIS terror outfit has been incurring huge losses in Iraq in recent months, with its affiliates expelled entirely from Mosul, Tal Afar and other areas.
