Several of wives of ISIS terror group's leaders have been arrested in the province of Nineveh, a security source said Monday.
He added the terrorists were moving to neighboring areas, bearing fake documents.
Ahmed al-Obeidi, a police sergeant, said the local police in the province arrested three of the wives of ISIS leaders.
Those women are wives of the so-called Mosul Alderman, ISIS finance official and the terror group's official in charge of assassinations, he added.
He also revealed the arrest has been made in the district of al-Ayadiya in western Mosul.
The security official noted that the arrested wives are under investigation.
ISIS terror outfit has been incurring huge
losses in Iraq in recent months, with its affiliates expelled entirely from
Mosul, Tal Afar and other areas.
