Four ISIS terrorists have been arrested in western Anbar within the cleanup operations waged by the security forces in the liberated areas in the province, a security source said on Thursday.
He added the four terrorists were arrested
as they attempted to get back to the liberated areas.
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, said the terrorists were moved to a detention center in Ramadi.
"They will be under an extensive
investigation to disclose the whole network with whom they have been working,"
the source further stated.
ISIS terror outfit has been incurring huge losses in Iraq in recent months, with its affiliates expelled entirely from Mosul, Tal Afar and other areas.
