New major developments about the next Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) that will be held in Kuwait next week have been revealed by a Kuwaiti diplomatic source on Thursday.
The source said that Kuwait leadership invited the leaders of the GCC to attend the 39th summit of the council, noting that it did not receive any refusals, or any preconditions to attend.
The source asserted that this means the summit will be carried as all the GCC countries agreed to attend.
He also revealed that the GCC foreign ministers' meeting will be carried out on Monday as scheduled without disclosing any further details.
The source stressed that Kuwait authorities has finished all the preparations and logistical details to host the GCC summit.
