Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi pledged on Saturday to revise 2018 state budget allocations for Kurdistan Region.
Abadi asserted that he will adjust the allocations to be satisfying to all Iraqi sides.
Iraqi Parliament Financial Committee Member Ahmed Hammah asserted that Abadi's promises come as Kurdish blocs and parties were outraged from downscaling the region's budget.
Hammah stressed that the Iraqi government seeks to collect federal money from the region's border crossings, airports and oil revenues to distribute it as payments to Kurdish employees.
He added that the state budget draft will arrive this week to the Parliament to be adjusted and activated before next year.
