5 Yemeni soldiers killed in Aden car bombing

At least five Yemeni soldiers were killed when a booby-trapped car went off near the security administration premises of the legitimate government in Khor Mkasar district in Aden in southern the country.

The explosion comes in the wake of a series of violent blasts that took place Saturday night as a result of a shelling carried out by the Arab coalition forces on Houthi rebels’ strongholds in Yemen.

Field sources said the shelling targeted a military camp in Fag Attan district, al Nahdeen military camp and other hideouts for the rebels.

The raids come in the wake of Houthi firing a ballistic missile on the Saudi capital Riyadh. Saudi defense forces repelled the attack that targeted King Khaled International Airport, with no damage reported.
