Arms depot discovered in western Baghdad

Arms depot discovered

Security forces have discovered an arms depot in western Baghdad, Intelligence Directorate declared Friday.

In a statement, The Baghdad Post attained a copy thereof; the Directorate said the Iraqi forces discovered a warehouse containing quantities of ammunition and other military hardware in the district of Karma in western Baghdad.

It indicated that in the depot, there were six explosive devices and other categories of military hardware, noting that bomb disposal experts safely defused the explosive charges.

Elsewhere in Baghdad, the Iraqi forces managed to seize two other depots of arms in the districtis of al-Tarmiya and al-Thaaliba, where they found mortar shells, missiles and explosive devices.

The Iraqi capital Baghdad is witnessing a state of insecurity and chaos as terror attacks target civilians.

Terrorist groups like ISIS, IMIS and others are targeting the city by booby-trapped cars, suicide bombs and other terrorist means in which the residents are feeling insecure and furious.
