Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received on Saturday Iraqi PM Haider al-Abbadi and his accompanying delegation.
King Salman hosted a dinner in honor of the premier and his delegation who expressed happiness for being in Riyadh.
The occasion was attended by a number of princes and Saudi and Iraqi officials.
Earlier on Saturday, King Salman sent a message to Iraqi President Fuad Masum. It was handed over to him by Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih during a meeting with him today in Baghdad.
Al-Falih and Masum discussed fields of cooperation and joint work between the two countries, including cooperation to re-balance the oil markets.
The two sides stressed the need for the participating countries to strictly and continuously adhere to the agreed oil reduction rates.
