A civilian has been killed while four others have been injured when an explosive device went out in southern Baghdad, a security source told The Baghdad Post Wednesday.
The source said that the explosive device was planted near al-Tabouq laboratories in al-Nahrawan district in southern Baghdad and the victims happened to be in the district when the blast took place.
Last week, an Iraqi citizen was killed while seven others were injured in two separate blasts in northern and southern Baghdad.
The Iraqi capital Baghdad is witnessing a state of insecurity and chaos as terror attacks target civilians.
For this reason, the security forces are conducting search and clearance operation to put an end to such attacks.
