Over a week ago, six Peshmerga soldiers were killed and injured in when an explosive device went out in one of Kirkuk’s neighborhoods.
ISIS has recently intensified its attacks, targeting civilians, Peshmerga and security forces.
ISIS conducts these offensives by using explosive devices and booby-trapped cars in an attempt to make up for it losses as the terrorist group’s power began to wane, particularly after the recapturing of Mosul and Tal Afar.
