An intelligence operation has been conducted in western Anbar, destroying an ISIS post in the so-called “al-Jazeera province” and killing 45 terrorists, War Media Cell announced on Friday.
In a press statement, the cell said that Hawks cell of Interior Ministry’s intelligence in coordination with Joint Operations Command and the Iraqi Air Force has carried out airstrikes Thursday on four ISIS posts in western Anbar.
On Thursday, Parliament's Security and Defense commission member Iskandar Watut said Anbar desert became a major danger that threatens Baghdad and its adjacent governorates.
In a press statement, Watut urged the Iraqi government to mobilize surveillance planes to
monitor and chase terrorist cell in the desert and fully secure it.
