ISIS' largest weapons and equipment depot in Tal Afar city in northeastern Iraq has been consumed by a massive fire, a security source from Nineveh Governorate told The Baghdad Post on Sunday.
In press statements, the source said that unidentified men infiltrated into ISIS' largest weapons and equipment depot in Tal Afar, killed its guard and set it on fire.
This has led to a massive explosion that burnt the whole depot, causing panic among ISIS terrorists, the source, who asked to remain anonymous, noted.
He further stated that ISIS terrorists were placed on alert, adding that the terrorist group has established checkpoints and conducted raids to search for those responsible for arson.
Tal Afar in western Mosul is still under ISIS' control. Joint security forces are preparing for storming the city and liberating it from the terrorist group.
