Sadr calls on Iraqis to confront corrupted parties

Security forces impose curfew in Baghdad's Al-Halabesa area

Sadrist Movement Leader Moqtada al-Sadr condemned the approval of the new electoral system (9.1) that represents the electoral threshold required to win a seat in the provincial councils.  


He also called on all Iraqis to confront the corrupted political blocs.


Earlier, Hussein al-Zubaidi, a leader in the Iraqi National Forces Coalition, said voting in favor of the new electoral system (9.1) is injustice to the Iraqi people and small and independent political blocs.


Sadrist Movement delegation has arrived at Tahrir Square in central Baghdad to participate in a demonstration calling for providing jobs.
