In the presence of the Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi, a military parade started on Saturday morning in Baghdad, celebrating the retaking of Mosul from ISIS' grip, a video obtained by the Baghdad post revealed.
The parade titled 'Liberation and Victory' and was held in Grand Festivities Square in Baghdad.
Ahead the Parade, Baghdad witnessed tight security measures and military aircraft flew over the city.
Yet many of the families of the dead soldiers and officers, and Tribal Mobilization representatives attended the Parade.
This come as the Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi declared on Monday the utter fall and collapse of ISIS state let of terrorism in Mosul.
The battle to retake Mosul began last October, with coordinated attacks by Kurdish Peshmerga from the east and Iraqi army units pushing up from the south.
