Manchester Airport's Terminal 3 evacuated after suspicious package
Manchester Airport's Terminal 3 has been evacuated following discovery of a suspicious package, the BBC reported Wednesday.

Hundreds of people were asked to leave the terminal as a precautionary measure after a suspect bag was found.

A bomb disposal unit has since carried out controlled explosions on the package, Greater Manchester Police said.

Parts of Terminal 1 were evacuated yesterday after a fire alarm was set off following a water leak.

Terminal 3 is the airport's smallest terminal and is used for domestic flights, as well as some flights to the US and Europe.

On May, Manchester Arena witnessed a terror attack  that killed at least 22 people and it was the deadliest on British soil since four al-Qaeda suicide bombers killed 52 people on trains and a bus in London on July 7, 2005.
