ISIS has arrested 10 people, mostly young men, in the left side of al-Shirqat neighborhood, located in north of Salahuddin Governorate, because the terrorist group thought they are behind the "bullet letters" phenomenon, a source revealed on Friday.
In a press statement, the source said that the arrests came after ISIS terrorists raided houses in the left side of al-Shirqat neighborhood, adding that those who have been arrested were taken to an unknown destination.
Earlier, a local source in the governorate noted on Thursday that "bullet letters" are a new method used against ISIS terrorists in al-Shirqat's left side as they put a bullet inside an envelope and place it in front of the terrorists' houses.
ISIS' grip began to loosen in many Iraqi cities after being inflicted with heavy losses. Moreover, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared on Thursday that ISIS terrorists had been defeated as the Iraqi security forces captured Great al-Nuri Mosque in the right bank of Mosul.
