The Iraqi Federal police have retaken 40% of Bab al-Baid town in the right bank of Mosul, the Federal Police commander Raed Shakir Jawdat said.

The operations launched on 19th of February by the US-backed Iraqi security forces, supported by the Iranian-backed sectarian IMIS Shiite militias, to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last major stronghold in Iraq.
