Abadi 'man of integrity, but irresolute' – Iraqi politician

Prime Minister Haide al-Abadi
Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi failed to run the country during his tenure, Haitham al-Jabouri, head of the Competencies and People Gathering, revealed on Sunday, adding that Iraq's debt is currently estimated at 111 billion US dollars.

In a televised interview, al-Jabouri claimed that the only positive feature in Abadi's term is the eradication of sectarianism, noting that the prime minister dealt with everyone regardless of their political or religious affiliation.

According to him, Abadi is a man of integrity, but he is irresolute, hesitant in taking decisions, and uses fruitless tools.

Jabouri noted that some ministers in Abadi's government are not even qualified to manage a school.

Abadi has to step down "if he is not capable of solving the country's problems, he added.

Earlier, Abadi's government has been accused of squandering all of the Iraqi state budget of 2016.

Moreover, the government spent over 58 million dollars on private sector companies and hasn't disclosed the reasons behind this spending yet.
