As the battle to recapture the right bank of Mosul from ISIS terrorists rages, besieged families tragedy increases on a daily basis, as shown in a video obtained by The Baghdad Post on Saturday.
The video shows besieged and displaced children who are fighting starvation and thirst as the battles intensifies in the city.
These incidents increase as the operations launched on 19th of February by US-backed Iraqi forces, supported by Iranian sectarian IMIS Shiite militias, to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last stronghold in Iraq entered its last stages.
Earlier, the UN children's agency warns that the children in Mosul are bearing the brunt of the intensified fight between US-backed government forces and ISIS group in the city's western half. More than 100,000 girls and boys are still in the ISIS-held Old City neighborhood and other areas, living in extremely dangerous conditions.
