Arab League
Arab League will hold Monday an urgent meeting to discuss the Gulf-Qatar crisis, sources told The Baghdad Post on Sunday.

The sources stressed that "the position of the Arab League from the crisis in Qatar will be determined during tomorrow's urgent meeting".

Meanwhile, media adviser to the Arab League Secretary General said the meeting would discuss the development of plans and frameworks to deal with the situation during the coming period."

For his part, spokesman for the Secretary-General Mahmoud Afifi said that "the Arab League has not yet determined its position on Qatar, and the statement released by four countries against Doha reflects only the vision of the countries that adopted it."

Four Arab countries-Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain- cut off diplomatic ties with Qatar allegedly over supporting terrorism and building powerful relations with Iran.
