Iran-backed IMIS controls 4 villages in Mosul's left bank

Iran-backed IMIS militias have fully controlled four villages in western al-Qayrawan in the left bank of Mosul, security sources told The Baghdad Post on Friday.

The forces also controlled the Sinjar- Beag Road, the sources confirmed.

The Iran-allied militias have launched operations in the district for the last two weeks.

Observers confirmed the terrorist militias sought to change the demography of the region by forcing Sunnis out of the neighborhood.

They added the militias attempt to fully control neighborhoods in western Mosul to the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

IMIS has a long history of looting, torturing and killing Sunnis, particularly in the newly-liberated areas from ISIS.

Multiple videos on social media show the terrorist groups assaulting and torturing Iraqis.
