A Yazidi girl was released after she was kidnapped by ISIS since four years ago in Cujo village, Shenkal district, a security source said.
Members of liberating Yazidis office were able to find the girl in Syria and free her, however some members of the girl's family are still held captive by ISIS, the source explained.
The source said the number of those rescued so far is 3,813 persons and about 3,000 others remain in ISIS captivity, adding that there are attempts to release the abductees.
Iraqi cities are bearing the brunt of ISIS terror. Explosions, suicide bombings and assassinations are a commonplace. Many civilians and police and army personnel die in the aftermath of this violence.
