Spokesman for the State of Law Coalition, Abbas al-Moussawi, described, on Tuesday,the demands of Iraqi protesters as legitimate, confirming that the coalition will back any steps taken to facilitate meeting these demands.
He mentioned that the
coalition's attendance in the meeting of political parties is not necessary.
The spokesman added that the coalition supports the demands of protesters, denying the burning of any coalition premises in Iraqi provinces.
He added that the demands of protesters are legitimate, noting that some practical solutions were drawn up to defuse the crisis.
He stressed the need to reappoint the army and police officers, who were sacked after the incidents of 2014, repaying due accumulated money to farmers and contractors over the past years."
