Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi held Sunday a ministerial council for national security meeting to discuss military measures to retake ISIS-held areas in the country.
In a statement, Abadi's media office said, 'PM discussed military preparations to recapture ISIS-held regions, safeguard borders and continue victories".
Iraqi army, backed by US-led coalition, has recently acheived big victories against ISIS terrorists.
In early July, Abadi declared Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, fully liberated from ISIS.
In late August, an offensive code-named 'We Are Coming, Tal Afar' managed to retake Tal Afr, western Mosul.
