Badr militia leader rejects Kurdistan independence referendum

Iranian Badr leader rejects Kurdistan independence referendum
After receiving orders from the Mullah's regime, Hadi Al-Amiri, the leader of Iranian Badr Brigade, reiterated his rejection of the Kurdistan independence referendum, Turkmenistan coordinating body said in a statement Wednesday.

The statement added that Amiri met with the lawmaker Hassan Tawran, one of the leaders of the Badr Organization, Mohammed Mahdi al-Bayati, and Abu Ridha al-Najjar, a leader in theTurkmen Mobilization.

During the meeting, they discussed the security issues in the Turkmen areas, including Kirkuk region, Tuz Khurmatu city, and the battle of retaking Tal Afar.

They also discussed the independence referendum in Kurdistan Region and including many districts outside the Kurdish region in the referendum, the statement read.

On 7th of June, Barzani met with Kurdistan political figures and parties and agreed to hold an independence referendum on 25th of September. They also agreed to hold parliamentary and presidential elections soon after the referendum.
