18 civilians killed in gov't raids on western Mosul

Iraqi government forces on Monday carried out an air raid on western Mosul leaving 18 civilians killed as part of the campaign launched by the government forces backed by the sectarian militias on Mosul.


In a statement released by the Iraqi Defense Ministry, it said the command of the Iraqi army carried out an air raid on Kharab Gaheish and Qamshaliya in western Mosul, leaving 12 persons killed.

The statement said the army also launched raids on other areas on northwestern Mosul claiming the lives of six persons.(MENA)
