Iraq's Prime Minister Adil Abd al-Mahdi is set to visit Washington soon, where he would discuss a number of issues of mutual concern, a source said Tuesday.
The visit, which was postponed several times, will take place soon, the source said.
The war against terrorism, the reconstruction of Iraqi cities liberated from ISIS are set to be discussed during the meeting, according to the source.
Also, Abd al-Mahdi will discuss the US military support to Iraq, the sanctions against Iran, and the necessity to consider the situation of Iraq amid the US-Iranian current conflict, the source added.
The presence of a conflict between Abd al-Mahdi and the US administration is totally untrue, the source affirmed.
