Iraqi security forces have discovered a hotbed for terrorists in Anbar province, the Iraqi security media center said in a statement Friday.
Yahia Rasool, the spokesperson for the center, said the move was taken upon precise intelligence information about the place of the hotbed, al Iraqiya news channel reported.
The hotbed included three explosive belts, two bombs in addition to 24 batteries and various military equipment, he added.
On the other hand, Iraqi military intelligence directorate said its forces have arrested the members of a terror cell in Nineveh governorate over links to ISIS terrorists in Syria’s Hajin town.
Meanwhile, Al Iraqiya news channel quoted an Iraqi intelligence source as saying on Friday that internal fighting has recently taken place between Iraqi and Uzbek members of ISIS group in Hajin town.
The source added that internal divisions have been exacerbated inside the terrorist group.
