Assad regime handed over two elements of the "Kurdish units" to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia

Assad regime handed over two elements of the Kurdish units to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, having arrested them earlier in the city of Aleppo, a source in the Democratic Union Party said on Monday.

 

The regime handed over the Iranian fighters, Mustafa Ghadir Zeinab and Rahim al-Mahmudi Azar, after being arrested in one of his hospitals in Aleppo.

 

The source pointed out that "the two elements were injured in clashes in the northern Syrian region of Afrin and then transferred to be hospitalized in Aleppo", pointing out that "Iran issued a 12 years prsion sentence against them following their arrival.”
