The Iraqi Directorate of General Military Intelligence (DGMI) discovered a factory for manufacturing improvised explosive devices in the Iraqi city of Mosul.
“Based on accurate intelligence information, the Military Intelligence Directorate managed to discover the factory for manufacturing improvised explosive devices, including a large number of roadside bombs, Katyusha rockets, various types of homemade improvised explosive devices and a quantity of equipment and machines for the manufacture of explosive containers, in the Iraqi city of Mosul.
On September 6, Iraqi security forces have managed night to destroy a number of ISIS tunnels and improvised explosive devises in Ninevehand Salahuldin provinces in northern Baghdad.
According to spokesman for security media center Brigadier Yehia Rasul, the Iraqi security forces carried out an inspection operation in southern Mosul, during which, a number of ISIS remnants were seized.
He added that the Iraqi forces have seized 12 explosive devices, two hand grenades and two mortar shells.
He added that the forces have also destroyed two tunnels that were used by ISIS terrorists in mounting attacks.
