Spokesman for the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in Yemen said Thursday the coalition's operation in Saada targeted Houthi terrorists who fired a ballistic missile on Saudi Arabia's Jizan on Wednesday evening.
Colonel Turki al-Malki dubbed today's strikes as a legitimate military action to target terrorists who killed and wounded civilians in Jizan.
Al Maliki confirmed that the operation was implemented in accordance with international humanitarian law and customary rules.
Meanwhile, 78 Iran-backed Houthi terrorists were killed in a series of air strikes by the Arab coalition fighters on the west coast of Yemen.
Military observers said the operations have degraded Al Houthis' military capabilities and disrupted their ranks.
