Iraqi security forces have destroyed four guesthouses belong to ISIS terrorist group and arrested two suspects in Kirkuk, an Iraqi security center said in a statement.
Yehia Rasool, the spokesman for the Iraqi Security Media Council, said that the troops of the federal police inspected several villages in Kirkuk, destroying four ISIS guesthouses and arresting two suspects.”
“The troops also destroyed three locally-made explosive and two boats belong to ISIS group, Rasool said
He added that the troops also seized 12 Kalashnikov assault rifles, two motor bikes, 2 sonic pistols.
Kirkuk officials previously urged reinforcing military
troops in the south and west of the province, as the region still has ISIS affiliates
who escaped during liberation of Hawija to remote areas.
