Syrian FM Walid al-Moallem claimed Saturday Iran has no combat forces or fixed bases in his country amid demands by Russia to oust Iranian militias from southern Syria.
These comments come amid escalating tensions with Israel warning against any permanent Iranian military presence in Syria.
