Iran-allied IMIS terror militias plan to establish a so-called tribal council in Wasit Governorate in an attempt to further intervene in all aspects of life in the province.
The council allegedly seeks to solve tribal disputes. But analysts warn the move would create further internal violence.
IMIS terrorists have committed atrocities against Iraqis, particularly Sunnis. Human rights groups, including Amnesty International, said the atrocities amount to war crimes.
