Britain: Iran-allied Houthis missile will not panic Saudi Arabia

Houthis always fire missiles against Saudi Arabia
British Foreign Office spokesman in the Middle East and North Africa, Samuel Edwin said the ballistic missiles launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias would not violate Saudi security and stability.

"The rockets did not create panic among the Saudis in the 1990s, and they will not do that either for the Saudis or the coalition now," Edwin wrote on his Twitter account.

"The few rockets fired will not drag us into a cycle of violence," he said, adding that the responses must be proportionate to show that the coalition stands with ordinary Yemenis.

"The UK supports the Saudi-led coalition to restore the legitimate government in Yemen and is committed to continue to do so," he said.
