12 IMIS terrorists killed in clashes with Peshmerga in Kirkuk

Twelve Iran-allied IMIS terrorists have been killed in clashes with Kurdish Peshemrga forces in Kirkuk, sources told the Baghdad Post Friday.

Press reports confirmed that Peshmerga forces clashed with Iraqi security forces at Altun Kupri in Kirkuk governorate.

The situation in Kirkuk escalates after a deal between Qassem Soleimani, leader of Quds Force, an elite branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and Pavel Talabani to withdraw his Peshmerga forces from the governorate.

Following the Peshmerga's withdrawal the Iranian Militias in Iraq and Syria were deployed in the governorate and committed numerous atrocities against the Sunni and Kurdish population.
