Iranian media and activists have posted photos of Qassim Suleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while patrolling lands in western Mosul, accompanied by affiliates of the Iranian Militias in Iraq and Syria (IMIS).
Suleimani has arrived at the Iraqi-Syrian border after IMIS have controlled districts along the borderline with Syria, according to a news website.
It is no surprise that Suleimani was spotted in this district as he acts as an adviser for IMIS commanders, it added.
In the meantime, Iran seeks to connect its military presence in Syria with that in Iraq. It delegates Suleimani and Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shiite militant group, to achieve this terrorist ambitions.
Moreover, IMIS is manipulating the deteriorating situation in Iraq to carry out its vicious plots with the aid of Iran's regime.
