Security sources said on Friday six ISIS terrorists had been killed in US-led International Coalition strikes in western Ramadi.
In a statement, Gen. Mahmoud Felahy, Commander-in-Chief of Anbar Operations said, "international coalition strikes destroyed an ISIS position in Akshat city, 310 km western Ramadi, and killed six terrorists".
He added that the eighth division of the Iraqi Army had killed six ISIS terrorists while infiltrating Karbala Province coming from Anbar.
Meanwhile, ISIS fired mortar shells at an Iraqi army position in Ramadi with no casualties reported, security sources revealed to The Baghdad Post.
