Four Iraqi servicemen were killed and 12 others injured after Daesh terrorist group targeted a military site near Tikrit in the wee hours of Friday.
A military source told Sky News Arabia that two Daesh terrorists used a booby-trapped in their midnight attack on a military site in Al-Dour town on the outskirts of Tikrit.
Two officers and two soldiers were killed in the terrorist attack, the source added.
Meanwhile, the state-run TV announced that Iraqi anti-terror troops stormed on Thursday night al-Muthanna district on the left coast of Mosul.
Earlier, anti-terror troops said they have liberated more than 70 percent of Mosul's left coast so far.
They vowed to continue their military operations to completely purge the left coast from Daesh militants.
