security source in Kirkuk said on Saturday two civilians have been killed and
two others wounded in two bomb blasts south of the province.
He added that remnants of ISIS terrorists planted three explosive devices on Kirkuk-Tikrit road.
"The first bomb targeted a truck, leading it to overturn. The driver was wounded," he said.
According to him, the second bomb was more devastating. It targeted a car of one of the locals in the village of al-Meriat. Two people were killed and the third was injured.
The security forces managed to defuse the third bomb.
The Iraqi cities are shaken with ISIS terror. Explosions take place occasionally, claiming lives of civilians and police personnel.
The group has been defeated. But its stalwarts are still sporadically carrying out attacks.
