5.5 magnitude quake hits southern Iran, near Bushehr Nuke Power plant

A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit regions in southern Iran Thursday morning, reports said.

 

Iranian authorities have yet to declare casualties from the quake that struck near the Bushehr Nuclear Power plant.

 

The quake was felt in Bahrain. 

 

According to The US Geological Survey, the quake struck at 0634 GMT some 100 kilometers (60 miles) east of Bushehr.
