An embargo imposed on the Kurdistan Region Government has been lifted, press reports said Saturday.
On Thursday, Kurdish officials said the embargo was partially lifted to run pilgrims flights from and to Sulaimaniyah and Erbil airports.
The Baghdad government had imposed an embargo on flights on Kurdistan’s Sulaimaniyah and Erbil airports as punitive measures following the Sept. 25th independence referendum that gave an overwhelming YES for an independent Kurdistan.
